Supmea Secures “Global Pass” with Dual UL Certifications in the U.S. and Canada
Recently, Supmea’s LDG-SUP-A100 Electromagnetic Flowmeter and FMX470 Explosion-proof Electromagnetic Flowmeter successfully obtained dual certification from UL (Underwriters Laboratories) for both the United States and Canada, meeting the requirements of UL 61010-1 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 61010-1-12 standards.
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is one of the world’s most renowned independent safety science organizations. Its certification system is widely recognized across North America and trusted in regions including Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. It is a critical benchmark for international market access.
Achieving this dual certification signifies that Supmea’s products are now fully qualified for legal entry, installation, and use in North American markets. It also offers local customers more convenient procurement options and helps projects integrate Supmea products more efficiently into their construction and supply chain systems.
UL 61010-1 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 61010-1-12 represent high-level electrical safety standards for industrial measuring equipment, and are regarded as the “golden threshold” for entering the North American market. The successful certification demonstrates the electrical safety and structural reliability of Supmea's flowmeters under complex industrial conditions.
Guided by the principle of customer-oriented innovation, Supmea is committed to aligning with global standards, serving diverse industrial applications worldwide. Looking ahead, Supmea will continue to advance its internationalization strategy, enhancing its product and service systems to empower customers with safer, more efficient, and more reliable process automation solutions.
